Estudios Barajas was founded in 1985 and since then it has played an important part in Spanish cinema production. Some of Spain’s most important movies have been shot there, such as “The Dumfounded King”, “Women on Verge of a Nervous Breakdown”  “Tie me up! Tie me down!”, “High Heels”, etc. As Pedro Almodóvar, one of our most assiduous and admired directors, has declared “Here in Estudios Barajas where we find ourselves is where I filmed, twenty and eighteen years ago respectively, most of “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown” and “Tie me up! Time me down!” […]. The air of the studio is filled with both good and bad memories, but with the passage of time they have all come together: the unpleasant ones are no longer and the wonderful ones are even more so”. (Text extracted from Pedro Almodóvar’s blog).

Our studios have also witnessed the filming of some of the most popular and loved Spanish TV series, such as “Tell me How it Was” (“Cuéntame cómo pasó”) and “The Burglars go to the Office” (“Los ladrones van a la oficina”), as well as many publicity spots.

The doors of Estudios Barajas are always open to anyone who may need our services.
